Some diners note that the bistro is not licensed, which can be inconvenient for those expecting to enjoy a drink with their meal without planning ahead. The corkage fee for bringing your own alcohol may be off-putting for some, despite the nearby local shop for convenience.
On busy evenings, particularly Fridays, the hustle and bustle can lead to longer wait times for food, which may detract from the experience for those looking for a more leisurely meal. Additionally, while the atmosphere is generally loved, some may find it a bit noisy when the bistro is at full capacity.
Went today for lunch with a couple of friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Never been before and hadn't realised it was not licensed but that was not a problem, could buy wine etc at local shop and be charged a corkage fee. Lovely wine and beer glasses provided. The food was amazing and very reasonable and the portion sizes excellent especially as you could choose a smaller portion if you wanted one. The bistro was quite busy which is great bearing in mind a Tuesday but stands to show the quality of the food. Will be back. Thank you.
The food was absolutely amazing the staff were so kind and amazing and the atmosphere was beautiful
I’ve eaten in many places but the stroganoff I had here has to be one of the most delicious meals I have ever had anywhere. Don’t change how you’re doing things as the place is perfect.
Amazing food and the staff were also amazing. Been here a few times now and every time it is brilliant. Thank you so much to all the staff
A fantastic little place. Lived nearby for a few years but only recently visited. Booking needed as it is very popular. You can BYOB and if you forget there is a coop a couple of doors down. The food is superb, filling, tasty, hot and service good as well. The prices are very reasonable as well. Also do takeaway.
